We saw a review posted yesterday on A1's Google Business Profile from a realtor who praised their support as if they were a superhero. Why do realtors keep A1 on speed dial? Adam shares his thoughts.

The topic of today’s podcast: Why A1 Foundation Crack Repair is a realtor's best friend.

Narrator: So, Adam, I saw a review posted yesterday on your Google My Business profile from a realtor who praised your support like you are an absolute hero. Great job there. So, it got me thinking, why do realtors keep you on speed dial?

Adam: It was a great review, and it's one of many that we get from both customers, realtors, and everyone in between. The reason why A1 Foundation Crack Repair is a realtor's best friend in the house sale processes with foundation issues is that we understand the process.

Not only are we from here, but we're all homeowners here. We've all gone through the process of looking at homes, loving a house, finding a couple issues in the house that you love, and trying to figure out, is this something that can wait? Is this something that we need to fix right away? Is the seller going to fix this? Is the buyer going to fix this? And we understand the time crunch that everything is under because between looking at the house and closing on the house is a very finite window. And there's a lot of activity there, both with people, contractors, lawyers, banks, etc.

It's really important to really work with somebody who not only understands this process but is sympathetic to the process and the time window that it really creates. In this case, a homeowner loved the house. They were in the eleventh hour of looking to finish closing on the house, and it was an FHA loan or VA loan. I can't remember which one it was. But in this particular case, the bank came in and said we're not going to underwrite the loan. And this is now days before closing, and part of the reason why is because the foundation had a couple issues in there.

The issues weren't terrible. They weren't major structural issues. They were something that could easily be resolved with a little bit of work and a little bit of time and not a ton of money. But understanding what the issue is, not having to go through a wholesaler process of, hey. Let's look at it. Let's evaluate it. Let's do this. It was simple. A few photos, a conversation. The bank was basically looking to make sure that the foundation was sound and that any major flaws were rectified.

This was just a foundation crack. We went in. We're able to repair it, give the warranty to the new buyer, be able to provide the documentation to the bank and to the attorneys, and then it was able to close right on time without it being a major undertaking and really blowing up the deal.

When a realtor gets involved here and they're really trying to close the deal and make sure that this process moves along smoothly, we understand the process. And making sure that you work with somebody local who's not a franchise or a larger business that doesn't understand Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and all New England area and all the different types of homes that we have here, it's important to make sure you work with somebody local.

Let us be a resource in your home buying process or your home selling process, and we're able to make sure that these deals continue to go through versus dying on the table in the eleventh hour.

Narrator: Thanks, Adam, for all the outstanding support you provide realtors in the New England area. I can tell your reputation as a fair and honest contractor is prized by realtors and homeowners alike.
