We were called by the contractor who was putting in the complete septic system for a commercial facility. They had dug the hole and put the tank in. However, Weston then had a tremendous amount of rain and even though the tank is enclosed, they noticed water leaking into the septic tank. They got our name from another waterproofing company.
We discovered a crack in the septic tank that was about 4' long and water had been pouring in. We discovered that the crack had been patched and re-patched so we needed to remove all of the old patches and patching material. To solve the problem and fix the crack we used a closed cell polymer resin injection process. We drill into the cracked area and inject resin which expands and forms a seal on the outside and within the cracks themselves. We were able to stop that water from leaking into the tank.
Everyone in the facility was happy that they could then use their water and septic system as much as necessary. For more information on crack repair and waterproofing, contact A1 Foundation Crack Repair.
